Doorway

A 9-inch teaser single to the upcoming W album from Planningtorock (aka JANINE ROSTRON). One doesn't hear a record like W very often, that's for sure, just as one seldom encounters an artist like Rostron. In the grip of W's melodrama and uncommon beauty, suddenly all those clichés make sense: this album stops listeners in their tracks, blows their minds and makes them feel alive. From the pulse and jabbing pizzicatos on "Doorway"-the album's opening track-Rostron unveils the album's unsettling yet heady allure. B-side is the passionate gem "The Breaks." Pressed on limited edition blue 9-inch vinyl.
