Rhythm & Rhymes-The Definitve Collection

2010 two CD anthology from the Rap icons. When you think about The Sugarhill Gang you inevitably think about their debut single, the timeless classic 'Rapper's Delight'. It is the record that launched Rap music into the public's conscious not just in the United States, but all around the world and sold several million copies. 'Rapper's Delight' is also one of the best selling 12" inch singles of all time. It's still a staple not just in Hip Hop clubs but also at weddings and birthday parties, you name it. This set gathers together all their important recordings from the more feel-good soulful tunes such as 'The Lover in You' to the out and out Rap hits such as 'Apache', '8th Wonder' and many more.
