ABOUT THE ALBUM
Waylon Sings Hank Williams' is a classic collection of songs every Waylon and Hank fan want for their own collection of music. In 1985 Waylon took tine to honor his greatest musical hero by recording some of his favorite Hank songs. These never before released tracks include songs such as 'Hey Good Lookin', 'Jambalaya' and 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry'. This was a project that meant a lot to Waylon. His deep rooted affection for Hand as a musician was unhindered and obvious to anyone who knew him. In these intimate recordings, his ragged, gritty voice somehow tenderly cradles these tunes with respect. Waylon has been know to sing quite a few Hank tunes live on stage. Now 'Waylon Sings Hank Williams' offers his special covers to even a broader audience. Be prepared to see another side of Waylon revealed.
