Officiel//Artificiel

2020 release. New Orleans-based group Sweet Crude returns with Officiel//Artificiel. The record follows their acclaimed 2017 release, Créatures about which The Washington Post proclaimed, "Sweet Crude blends the sounds of it's city with French-sung Cajun music and baroque, synth-based pop," while Consequence of Sound called it, "An alluring indie pop record filled with playful rhythms and a genuine love for the Louisiana city."
