ABOUT THE ALBUM
The definitive edition of The Action's celebrated 1967-1968 demo recordings - the sessions that bridged their George Martin-produced mod-soul singles and their evolution into Mighty Baby. After five Parlophone singles that earned universal critical praise and zero chart success, The Action shed their soul-mod roots and began writing original material steeped in The Byrds and West Coast psychedelia, with Coltrane's modal jazz creeping into the arrangements. Long out of print on CD and newly remastered by Prof. Stoned from the best available sources. Featuring the expanded line-up that pointed toward Mighty Baby, with multi-instrumentalist Ian Whiteman and guitarist Martin Stone (Savoy Brown). Digipak with illustrated 12-page booklet. Limited pressing.
