ABOUT THE ALBUM
Rediscover Shoot - On the Frontier, the 1973 masterwork where Yardbirds alumnus Jim McCarty and guitarist Dave Green prove their songwriting clout. Newly remastered for 2025 by Prof. Stoned, this digipak edition spotlights guest turns from pedal-steel legend B.J. Cole and Renaissance pianist John Tout, and packs a 12-page booklet loaded with Alan Clayson's fresh liner notes and rare 1973 ephemera. Two choice bonus tracks round out the set-most notably "Storms as Sorrows," absent from the original LP, plus a 1972 radio-session take of "Neon Life." Fifty-plus years on, this overlooked classic finally gets the spotlight it deserves.
