Changes EP

RIYL: Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Kurt Vile. Debut release now available in the UK. In 2015, Indiana based songwriter Kevin Krauter recorded his debut EP, Magnolia , while attending school in Muncie, Indiana. The songs were a collection of old demos thrown together into a six-song EP for a friend's semester project. A year later, the same friend approached Krauter with the idea for another six-song project. This time, Krauter had been writing new songs over the past year with the intention of releasing them together on an album. What resulted is Changes , a cohesive collection of songs that range a multitude of influences from Bossa Nova to Americana. Changes was Krauter s first attempt at writing and recording a set of songs that came together thematically while maintaining their own distinctive sound and feeling. The EP was originally released in 2016 via Winspear. Tracklist: 1. Shadow Boxing (4:51) 2. Fantasy Theme (3:58) 3. Bachelor (5:29) 4. Reckless (2:59) 5. Changes (4:03) 6. Diamonds (5:58)
