ABOUT THE ALBUM
The classical music of the Maghreb - Tunisia, Morocco & Algeria - remains a vibrant part of this region's musical culture; traditional ensembles perform seven variations on the nubah, a suite-like set of songs & instrumentals that comprise the bulk of the Andalusian music repertoire, played on 'ud, tar, mandle, qanum & sax, among others.
