Hits

Many artists strive to be innovative. Kelis does it naturally. Whether it was giving early production from the Neptunes extra bite with her sassy vocals, screaming on a scorned lover on her breakthrough "Caught Out There" single, teasing potential suitors on the sly "Milkshake" or causing heads to turn with her forward-thinking fashion sense, Kelis has always been in her own league, a singer and entertainer that others look to for inspiration. Now nine years after her first release Virgin Records are set to release Kelis' greatest hits album, 'The Hits', in March 2008. The album features songs from her four albums; Kaleidoscope (Caught out There, Good Stuff, Get Along with You, Suspended); Wanderland "(Young, Fresh n' New); Tasty (Milkshake, Trick Me, Millionaire, in Public) ; Kelis Was Here (Bossy, Lil Star); plus some key collaborations with Ol' Dirty Bastard (Got Your Money), Richard X (Finest Dreams), and N*E*R*D (Truth Or Dare). EMI. 2008. Kelis - the Hits is a collection of Kelis' biggest tracks over the past seven years of her critically-acclaimed career, including the infectious hit single "Milkshake" plus all-star collaborations with Ol' Dirty Bastard, Andre 3000, and the Neptunes.
