New Life: 2026 Remaster (Uk)

Beautifully packaged and remastered version of the amazing second album with bonus tracks. Solstice's second album, New Life, stands as one of the seminal releases of the ""neo-prog"" revival of the 1980's era: a true classic from start to finish. Yet, without the backing of a major label, it has remained, outside the devoted Solstice faithful, something of an undiscovered gem. Recently remastered by Andy Glass, the band's founder and creative mainstay, New Life has been lovingly repackaged with beautiful new artwork. This CD edition featuring bonus live versions of three standout tracks performed by the current, much-celebrated Solstice line-up. Championed by progressive rock figures including Steven Wilson and Big Big Train's Greg Spawton, New Life has had a lasting influence. The music that became part of prog folklore at venues such as London's Marquee Club continues to captivate audiences fortunate enough to experience Solstice live today, and can now, at last, be heard with the sonic quality it deserves.
