The Other Place

Curios unique sound is a product of the rare musical empathy between the three musicians; Pianist Cawley, bass player Sam Burgess and drummer Joshua Blackmore. They have been lauded in the press: "Cawley writes music with an emotional amplitude rare in jazz"(The Times); "Three sharp musical minds in perfect accord" (The Observer); "Deeply personal, highly evolved music" (MOJO magazine); "A shining light for British jazz" (Musician magazine); "World-class" (The Guardian). This, their third and most anticipated album, is a triumph of both composition and playing and puts them at the forefront of British jazz.
