ABOUT THE ALBUM
Mastered and cut on 140g transparent vinyl by legendary mastering engineer Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, London. 'Isthmus' is Ross Tones's 5th album for Houndstooth in 10 years. It only seems fitting for it to return to the eclecticism of 2014's 'Mosaic'.An isthmus is a narrow strip of land that connects two larger bodies. The two islands contrast in time, topography, chaos and character. One sears. The other, buried by blizzards.A land bridge fights the tide; offering harbor.Connecting the estranged.Giving battle to the noise. It is uncertain who won.Tracklisting:A1. Ribboning A2. Apricity A3. The Madness of The Bull A4. Rasp A5. Whispers A6. Ephemeral A7. Asunder B1. Chimera B2. Hear The Tongue Fork B3. An Arrow to Follow B4. Riven B5. Mourn B6. Tides
