ABOUT THE ALBUM
Swet Shop Boys is a transatlantic hip hop group featuring Heems (ex-Das Racist), Riz MC (Riz Ahmed, who was a key actor in Star Wars Rogue One movie) and British producer Redinho. After providing a soundtrack to dissent with debut LP Cashmere, Swet Shop Boys are back with their Record Store Day 2017 release Sufi La. The EP of all new material leaves the political to focus on the party. 'Thas My Girl' sounds like Sugar Hill Gang inspired by Brandy and Monica's 'The Boy Is Mine' while 'Birding' is an ode to the Mughal pastime of birdwatching. A limited edition white vinyl available in all good record shops on Record Store Day, 22nd April 2017.A1. Anthem A2. Sufi La A3. Thas My Girl B1. Zombie B2. Birding B3. Need Moor
