Ultra (2020) marked Christ’s long-awaited Warp debut, a landmark release demonstrating Christ’s quiet mastery of an abstractly violent form of Trance. Revanchist is the long-awaited debut album by Evian Christ, scheduled for release by WARP on October 20th, 2023. The eight-track record epitomises Christ’s unique take on Euphoric Trance, which abandons traditional notions of functionality and beauty, and catalyses a widescreen view of the violent, romantic sublime.
