Man In The Hot Seat (Uk)

A true legend of the acid jazz / jazz funk scene, James Taylor returns with a stunning new orchestral disc from the James Taylor Quartet MAN IN THE HOT SEAT. A sonic colossus, especially when listened to on vinyl, it connects the quartet's effortless melodic funk, the fullness of sound that only an orchestra can deliver, with James' love of classic film soundtracks. Created and recorded with the musicality and mastery of production we've come to expect from JTQ, this is undoubtedly one of those great records.
