ABOUT THE ALBUM
Sunbeam is delighted to announce the debut album from the Story, a duo comprising Martin Welham (long-lost leader of psych-folk legends Forest) and his son Tom. Tale Spin is a delightfully melodic and nuanced collection of psych-tinged acoustic pop, written and recorded in the depths of the English countryside, and sure to appeal to fans of acts such as Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom and Espers as well as older names such as the Incredible String Band, COB and Vashti Bunyan. 11 tracks. 2006.
