Mandy / O.S.T. (Uk)

Vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Original soundtrack to the 2018 motion picture composed by late Icelandic musician Johann Johannsson. Written and directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond The Rainbow, Tombstone), Mandy is set in the primal wilderness of 1983 where Red Miller (Nicolas Cage), a broken and haunted man hunts an unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life. Two time Oscar nominated composer Johann Johansson (Arrival, Sicario, The Theory of Everything, Prisoners) died shortly after the score was completed, which has received rave reviews. "Jóhannsson was at the top of his game when working on this highly-anticipated film. The preview gives listeners examples of the beauty, dread, tension, and horror that can be found in the film, but just with the use of the incredible score." -The Playlist.
