ABOUT THE ALBUM
LOX's cinematic debut album 'The Eight Gates' chronicles perseverance, identity, and the pursuit of greatness. LOX is a London-based drummer, composer, and bandleader who has performed, recorded, and toured internationally since the age of 16, now 25, he has taken his artistry across the globe. His extensive list of collaborators includes Noname, Dee Dee Bridgewater, China Moses, Blue Lab Beats, Greg Spero, Femi Temowo, Casey Benjamin, Shae Universe, and Jahari Stampley. Supported by a stellar band, LOX's compositions - often described as energetic yet sensitive and orchestral - draw heavily from anime and video game music. With 'The Eight Gates', he steps boldly into the spotlight, heralding an exciting new voice in the UK music scene.
