ABOUT THE ALBUM
One of the last studio albums made by Jimmy Witherspoon, this CD contains previously unreleased material which captures the essence of this late great jazz/blues legend. Recorded live in the studio with no overdubs, Witherspoon has captured the spontaneity of the performance, resulting in a fresh sounding album from a band on top form. The band shines through, especially guitarist Eugene Pau.
