Echoes From The Past

Written over the last two years, Echoes from The Past captures a band that has quickly found it's own voice. While it's roots are firmly planted in the great melodic heavy metal tradition, the album avoids looking backwards for the sake of nostalgia. Instead, every song is driven by a genuine passion for memorable songwriting, dramatic arrangements and stories that invite the listener to return, discovering new details with every spin. Fans of Savatage, Queensrÿche, Helloween, Judas Priest and Dio will immediately recognize the musical DNA running through the record, yet Invincia never sound like a tribute to their heroes. Echoes From the Past is an album shaped by those influences rather than defined by them. As with the band's debut EP, the album was mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse) at Mass Destruction Production, whose work gives the record a powerful, organic sound without sacrificing the dynamics and character of the performances. The release follows the unexpectedly strong response to The Enemy Within. Despite being completely independent, the EP earned coverage from media outlets acros Europe, including Sweden Rock Magazine, Kaoszine and numerous international webzines and radio stations. It's singles were featured in Spotify's official Metallia Suomesta playlist, introducing Invincia to an audience that continues to grow well beyond Finland. With Escape Music now joining the journey, Echoes From The Past represents the natural evolution of a band whose ambition has always been simple: to write timeless heavy metal songs that stand on their own merits.
