ABOUT THE ALBUM

Tommy Dorsey is best known for the recordings he made with his orchestra during the 1940's, what is less known that Tommy was also a disc jockey with his own daily radio show which ran from late in 1947 until mid 1948. This CD is the second of four compilations of excerpts from these shows featuring the top tunes of the day. There are no interviews on this volume & Tommy manages to squeeze in six tracks he recorded with his own orchestra.
