ABOUT THE ALBUM
A year after leaving Montrose, Sammy had his first charting solo album: this 1977 Capitol LP (which most fans call "The Red Album"). Track one, Red, kicks of a scorching set of rockers: Cruisin' and Boozin'; Free Money; Hungry; The Pits; Rock 'n' Roll Weekend; Fillmore Shuffle; a surprising cover of Donovan's Catch the Wind, and more!
