Something to Shout About

2008 digitally remastered collection of the Scottish vocalist's early hit-laden years featuring her debut album and more. Since storming the charts at the tender age of 15 with the Isley Brothers' classic 'Shout!', reinvented in a Brenda Lee-like rasp of amazing power, Lulu has been a star. Collaborations with David Bowie, Jennifer Saunders, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Duane Allman, Bert Berns, Take That and the star is always Lulu! Unbelievably, she has charted in five decades. With notes by Brian Hogg, author of All That Ever Mattered, the definitive history of Scottish Rock and Pop, this will be a pretty definitive take on Lulu's first hit-making couple of years. Rev-Ola.
