Castles in Spain

Digitally remastered edition of this album from the French pianist and composer. With this dramatic collection, Legrand continues his orchestral portraits of Europe's splendid cities and countries, this time portraying the dazzling lights and deep shadows of Spain. The itinerary which has touched on Paris, Rome and Vienna now moves through the historic Spanish cities and across the broad plains, into the towering mountains and along the seacoast. The music of Spain is especially characteristic of the country, echoing the Moorish cultures, the Renaissance, the contemporary, the brilliant diversity of the Spanish landscape. El Records.
