ABOUT THE ALBUM
Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the R&B band's 1981 album. Kool & the Gang need no introduction. They were the top selling Soul group of the '70s and '80s having sold over 70 million albums worldwide and have received countless awards. 1981 brought with it the release of Something Special, their 15th studio album, in the same year they would win Favorite Band, Duo or Group in the Soul/Rhythm & Blues category at the American Music Awards and would once again feature Grammy Award winner, Eumir Deodato's special touch on production duties. BBR is proud to present this fully expanded and newly re-mastered edition complete with extended liner notes, including new interviews, and added bonus material. BBR.
