CD 4 features the compilation 'King Of Bands' originally released in 1991, which includes two specially recorded tracks and three from the debut 'Another Wasted Night'Formed in 1980, and featured on the classic 'This Is Boston, Not LA' compilation in 1982, the band split briefly when founding member Chris Doherty joined Jerry's Kids. The band resurfaced in '85, issuing a 7" that was the first release on influential Boston label Taang! This release features extensive liner notes from respected writer Mark Freebase, including an extended brand new interview with Chris Doherty, the only constant member of Gang Green since 1980, plus additional interviews with manager Alec Peters, guitarist Fritz Erickson, drummer Brian Betzger, bassist Joe Gittleman (who found further success as a founding member of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones) and current guitarist Chris Donelly are all included to round out the story.
