ABOUT THE ALBUM
Japanese edition features one bonus track, 'To A Place No Map Can Find (8:34)'. Side-Eye III+ is Pat Metheny's first major studio album in six years, released February 27, 2026, and marks the debut release on his new imprint Uniquity Music, created in partnership with Primary Wave, continuing the evolution of the Side-Eye concept centered on collaboration with exceptional younger musicians and led by the sweeping opening composition "Make A New World, " which reflects both the scale and intimacy of the project, built on the core touring trio of Metheny, Chris Fishman, and Joe Dyson and expanded in the studio with additional collaborators including Daryl Johns, Brandee Younger, Luis Conte, and a vocal ensemble led by Mark Kibble of Take 6, resulting in a richly detailed and forward-looking sonic landscape that Metheny describes as complex, inevitable, recognizable, and surprising, with the Side-Eye ensemble supporting the release with an extensive 2026 world tour across North America and Europe.
