Still Life Ii

Originally released in 2020, this was Haruka Nakamura's first solo piano album and remains one of his signature works. Painted in muted piano tones, it serves as a 'still life' that accompanies everyday living-filled with gentle, serene melodies. Since it's release in 2020, it has continued to enchant listeners and remains a long-selling title. The soft and warm sound of analog suits the music of this work perfectly, making it a repress fans have been eagerly waiting for. The 'Still Life' series was composed as a gesture of tenderness toward daily life and as music to support the modest days we all live. When 'Still Life I' was released in the spring of 2020, the world was undergoing a period of drastic transformation. Amidst the chaos, this album became a gentle light for many people's daily lives. It's sequel also quietly illuminates everyday life with melodies full of profound compassion. The tracks on 'Still Life II' were composed alongside those of 'Still Life I' in early 2020, through a long period of home recording in Haruka Nakamura's room. The pieces selected for 'Still Life II' are deeper, more tranquil, and evoke the atmosphere of autumn and winter. The muted piano world of Haruka Nakamura finds it's full realization in 'Still Life II.
