Shizen To Computer

The long-awaited analog LP of OGRE YOU ASSHOLE's first full-length album in five years is finally set for release. This band, known for their obscure, trippy, and gently psychedelic sound, has captivated listeners both in Japan and abroad. Released in 2023 to critical acclaim, the song 'Ie no Soto' (the album version is included in this release) and their intense, trance-inducing live performances have made clear the band's recent evolution. In this album, they continue to explore their signature human-powered, repetitive, spacious ensemble, blending it with krautrock-inspired electrified minimalism achieved through further incorporation of electronics. The static pleasures of gentle undulation that made their previous album 'Atarashii Hito' a masterpiece are now combined with the organic progression of modulated electronic sounds, creating a fresh, resonant experience. This is the latest form of psychedelia from a band that continues to evoke giants of the past while remaining entirely unique. Don't miss out on this new chapter in their sonic journey. Remixed and remastered for vinyl by Souichiro Nakamura, with cutting by veteran engineer Shigeru Takezawa at Columbia Studio, this is a high-quality pressing. LISTEN: https://open.
