Summer Jam (10in)

The long-awaited 2025 repress of the happy bass music classic 'Summer Jam,' which has been gaining fans since it's release, is a fresh new version with the B-side changed to the legendary live session version with 7FO, a close ally of the band, for a more summer jam feel. After the masterpiece 'No Broken Hearts on the Factory Floor' (2015), Tapes, who had been focusing on his activities with Rezzett, released 'Summer Jam' (2020) after many twists and turns. In a world covered with a futuristic dystopian feeling, this song, which dares to compose only with major chords, gives off a sense of happiness that is even alien, but that is his first-class critical attitude towards (easy) dark moods. If you are used to the twisted and twisted electronic expression of Rezzett's work (this is also great), this song will be confused by the heavy use of white chords, but at the moment of the two breaks, you will encounter a musical miracle that you had almost forgotten. Although it is melodic and pop, it is not easy listening because of the skill that has been pursued in bass music. It is a cheerful and serious controversial work that questions the primal something that is inevitably left behind the more complex electronic music develops into an art form. The coupling of the 2025 version includes a legendary live session with ally 7FO from 2019. Featuring the best slow guitar solo of 7FO, who is completely Japanese, 'Summer Jam' is completed in joy!LISTEN: https://youtu. Be/5ucyQk4aGkUTracklist:A. Tapes - Summer JamB.
