Funky Stuff

Japanese jazz and Jazz Funk masterpieces are re-released on clear green color vinyl!A jazz-rock masterpiece by the virtuoso Jiro Inagaki! Beyond jazz and rock. Led by Jiro Inagaki, Soul Media arrived at the ultimate tight, cool groove. As Inagaki himself has said, 'I did black funk,' his musicality leaped to another dimension by combining the explosiveness of jazz-rock that he had cultivated up to that point with the tenacity and elasticity of black music. Combined with the virtuoso Hiromasa Suzuki's arrangement, the groove is polished, glossy, and shiny. All songs are highlights, such as 'Painted Paradise' full of dynamism and galloping, 'Breeze' where funkness and mellowness coexist, and a cover of 'Funky Stuff' by Kool & the Gang with a low center of gravity and sharpness. It is now a definitive masterpiece that is constantly wanted from all over the world. text by Yusuke Ogawa (UNIVERSOUNDS/DEEP JAZZ REALITY)LISTEN:https://youtu. Be/kjxxVkSd0XATracklist:Side A1.
