Barabajagal - Limited Edition

Barabajagal by Donovan is released as a Blu-spec CD2 complete limited production paper jacket edition as part of the Donovan Paper Jacket Collection 6, commemorating his 60th debut anniversary in 2025 and his 80th birthday in 2026, presenting this classic album for the first time in a paper sleeve format that closely reproduces the original US LP A-style jacket and includes a faithfully reproduced fan club flyer insert, a restored Japanese LP obi based on the original CSB Sony design, a 2026 newly remastered high quality Blu-spec CD2 disc, newly written liner notes, and a lyric booklet with Japanese translations, with three bonus tracks scheduled for inclusion; originally released in 1969 and reaching No. 23 on the US charts, the album marked a decisive creative shift after the abandonment of the children's folk project Moon In Capricorn and was recorded through sessions featuring the Jeff Beck Group along with Leslie Duncan, Madeline Bell, Suzi Quatro, Danny Thompson, Jim Gordon, Harold McNair, and Alan Hawkshaw, standing as a defining work that closed out Donovan's prolific 1960s era.
