ABOUT THE ALBUM
A new back-to-back style DJ unit, 'OMAKASE,' formed by DJ KENTA and DJ SOULJAH, is here!Bringing an outstanding sense of live performance, the second installment of their DJ-oriented edit series, dubbed 'OMAKASE 3-Minute Cooking,' is now available on 7-inch vinyl!Included on Honey Cone's final album 'Love, Peace & Soul' (1972), this track delivers an exuberant slice of great Northern Soul with lyrics rooted in the idea of 'innocent until proven guilty. ' It was famously sampled in Common's 'Testify,' produced by Kanye West. OMAKASE's edit cuts the drum roll and kicks things off at the peak right from the start!LISTEN: https://open.
