This iconic show was broadcast by several TV and radio stations, cementing ist status in guitar history. Throughout their tour, Beck and Vaughan rotated the opening and headlining slots each night. On this specific night in New York, Stevie Ray Vaughan opened the evening, followed by Jeff Beck's set. The performance offered an incredible contrast between Vaughan's earthy, fiery Texas Blues and Beck's experimental, technically brilliant Fusion-Rock.
