Io (Uk)

Ten 56. Have taken over the modern metal scene in record time and won't stop. Their sophomore album, IO, picks up where 2023's Downer left off, but this time, the stakes are even higher. This new era sees the band doubling down on their identity: violently emotional, deeply human, and sonically forward-thinking. Each track crafts a journey that is as raw as it is relentlessly ambitious. "With IO, we've taken the distinct foundation on which we built our debut album on, and pushed that twisted, vulgar, yet vulnerable emotional rollercoaster even further." With this album, ten 56. #once again prove their standing as one of the most musically innovative and emotionally charged acts in today's metal landscape and their ability to sonically channel pure, unfiltered anger is nowhere near fading.
