ABOUT THE ALBUM
Softee, the moniker of Nina Grollman, is a blend of queer, emotional, genre-bending psychpop. Her music draws a wide range of influences, from Robyn to Janet Jackson to Dolly Parton, and her upcoming album Natura/will be released on May 12, 2023. "Softee's vocals are high and lithe to match, and the chorus hits with the power of simple phrases paired with perfect melodic choices ... " - Rolling Stone "The soul of her sound is created in the puckish duality of her projects - her music and the cultural critique found behind the scenes." - Paper Magazine "A funky indie-pop vibe-fest ... buzzed atop a percolating rhythm section that's punctuated by soulful horns." - Billboard
