Bound for Glory

Third and most complete album from the talented Damien DeRose, the singer/songwriter behind Peasant. This follow up to the critically acclaimed and fan favorite "Shady Retreat" is a collection of deep and diverse tracks that reveal new layers in this prolific artist. Along with Spin Magazine, Daytrotter, CMJ and others, NPR raves "when armed with a guitar, DeRose makes music that beckons and calls out, as if demanding to be heard. DeRose also has a secret weapon: A voice that seems to expose his soul." DeRose, now 25, has been actively releasing records for the last four years and has toured extensively with the likes of Cursive, Deer Tick, Albert Hammond Jr., and Steve Earle. Pre release press for this new album include MTV Hive, a Ynot Radio Session, BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 airplay, an NME video presentation, one and a half minutes of the track "Pretty Good" in CBS' "The Good Wife" show, an Esquire Magazine review, etc. Tracks: 01.
