ABOUT THE ALBUM
During this performance in Bremen, Germany at the "Women in (e)motion" concert series, a reverent atmosphere filled the venue within moments. Odetta did not need to use large gestures or spectacular presentation - the intensity of her delivery alone, which came from the soul, held the audience captive beyond the last note. This CD recording comes as close to recreating this feeling as a concert recording possibly can, and it's an exceptional documentation of a wonderful evening. Features "Rambler & Gambler," "Before I Can Change My Clothes," "Alabama Bound," "Bo Weevil," "Nine Hundred Miles" and other songs.
