ABOUT THE ALBUM
Bill had one of his all-time best bands behind him when he played the Newport Folk Festival in on July 26 and 27, 1963, a band that lost key members later that year. This was his first Newport appearance and one of the best live bluegrass concerts you'll ever hear: Mule Skinner Blues; Uncle Pen; I Am a Pilgrim; Salt Creek; Lonesome Road Blues; Rawhide, and more!
