Figli Delle Stelle (40th Anniversary)

The third release in the "Studio Original Master" vinyl series, curated by Pino "Pinaxa" Pischetola, presented in the highest audio quality. This edition is produced as a limited and numbered pressing (single pressing only). Alan Sorrenti's fifth album, Figli delle Stelle, originally released in 1977 by EMI Italy, is now available in a new numbered edition, remastered in high-resolution digital audio from the original analog tapes. Curated by Pino "Pinaxa" Pischetola and designed for audiophiles and music enthusiasts, this version delivers greater clarity and improved frequency response, reducing noise, distortion, and compression, allowing the album to be appreciated as never before. Figli delle Stelle marked a turning point in the artist's career, as he moved away from progressive rock toward disco, becoming one of the genre's pioneers in Italy. The title track, Figli delle stelle, is among the first dance songs sung in Italian, featuring a distinctive guitar riff and an infectious groove. Other standout tracks include Donna Luna, Casablanca, and E tu mi porti via. The album blends soul, funk, and pop influences, anticipating musical trends that would emerge in the years to come.
