Speak for Yourself

X2000 limited edition. 12-track iridescent disc with on-body halftone butterfly mesh, housed in a matte laminated digipak with spot UV gloss. Packaged with 2 small double-sided photo inserts, and 3 frosted vellum lyric sheets. Includes redeemable digital Heapster badge. Originally self-released in 2005, Speak for Yourself is the fiercely inventive second album by Imogen Heap-written, produced, recorded, and mixed entirely by Heap herself. A true one-woman operation, it marked a defining moment in independent music: genre-blurring, emotionally rich, and technically daring. Now, twenty years on, this landmark record returns in a fully remastered 20th anniversary edition. Remastered in close collaboration with Heap's longtime friend and mastering engineer Simon Heyworth, this black vinyl edition captures the full depth and nuance of the original recordings with unparalleled clarity and warmth. Paired with newly curated packaging, it's a celebration of an album that has influenced a generation of artists-from Taylor Swift and James Blake to Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande-and continues to inspire listeners with it's bold vulnerability and sonic innovation.
