Weight Of Sound

2026 release by Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake. The quintet has long been a prominent name in the international metalcore scene. Drawing influences from both metalcore and hardcore, their sound fuses the intensity of both genres into a uniquely heavy and infectious style, especially powerful during their electrifying live performances. With features from Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage), David Simonich (Signs of the Swarm), Taylor Barber (Seven Hours after Violet), Myke Terry (Fire from the Gods, Volumes), and Karl Schubach (Misery Signals), the record shines through it's diversity while staying true to the core sound of Crystal Lake's music.
