The Closing Chronicles

After 29 years, NIGHTINGALE's acclaimed second full-length, “The Closing Chronicles”, is available again – on CD and for the first time ever on LP – in re-mastered shape by songwriter/frontman/producer Dan Swanö (Edge Of Sanity, Opeth, Katatonia). Originally released only on CD in 1996, “The Closing Chronicles” showcases Swano’s meteoric growth as a tunesmith, picking up from and growing out of debut “The Breathing Shadow”, while welcoming his ultra-talented brother Dag Swano (a.k.a. Tom Nouga) to the NIGHTINGALE fold. Featuring stand-outs “Deep Inside of Nowhere”, “Revival”, “Thoughts from a Stolen Soul”, and the “Alive Again” trilogy, plus 15 bonus tracks for the 2CD format (Including the previously unreleased cover EP “The Childhood Chronicles” featuring "Before the Dawn" (Judas Priest), "C'est la vie" (E.L.P.) and "Return to Fantasy" (Uriah Heep), as well as demos and live-versions of own material). “The Closing Chronicles” is available as a Ltd. Digipak 2CD (7 + 15 bonus tracks) with O-card and as a 180g LP (7 tracks). Restored, renewed and as vibrant as ever, fans will revel at the moody hard rock brilliance of NIGHTINGALE's “The Closing Chronicles” once more.
