ABOUT THE ALBUM
Limited clear colored vinyl LP pressing. Mama Bird Recording Co present Matt Dorrien's new release Blue Pastoral. It is recommended if you like Randy Newman, Tobias Jesso Jr, Andrew Combs, etc. His last album had support from NPR, Paste, Bandcamp, The Wild Honey Pie, The Line of Best Fit, Gold Flake Paint and more. In the artist's own words about the album: "My coming of age album. It is a collection of observations on my life, career, the road, the political atmosphere of the world, and finding redemption in compromise. Musically, I further explore early American music, Jazz origins, Baroque writing, Brazilian rhythms, and finally utilize my college training in orchestration."
