ABOUT THE ALBUM
Giant Panda have returned! Their debut album, FLY SCHOOL REUNION, dropped in 05 and was received by unsuspecting ears that caught the raw sounds bursting forth. Now, ELECTRIC LASER is the name of the game, and Giant Panda play it well. Banging snares and kicks dominate the forefront, and the melodies are thick electro-fused samples, not too much jazz or funk this time around. The lyrical content stands ahead of what most GP fans are used to, with more humor and serious subject matter, showing another side of the panda's fur. ELECTRIC LASER is a step forward for Giant Panda, but not so much to lose if you're still in FLY SCHOOL.
