All Over the World

As founder member of UK Reggae pioneers Matumbi, Dennis Bovell is truly part of UK Reggae royalty. Formed in the early '70s, Mutumbi quickly installed themselves at the front of the UK scene and confirmed their position with late 70's EMI releases such as Seven Seals and Point of View. With Matumbi, Bovell established himself as the real deal. He was soon collaborating with reggae legends I Roy and Johnny Clarke and followed this working with the likes of '80s superstars the Thompson Twins and Bananarama. A successful period of writing, recording and production followed as Bovell continued to make innovative, important and inspired music. Over 30 years since he arrived on the musical scene he still has the energy, emotion and insight to make great reggae music and in All Over the World has created an album which will refresh the UK Reggae scene. 12 tracks. EMI. 2006.
