ABOUT THE ALBUM
Their third LP found The Meters stretching out and putting more emphasis on vocals, but never at the expense of that hypnotic groove. Funky jams like Chicken Strut; Same Old Thing and the Hand clapping Song, are joined by covers of Witchita Lineman; Ride Your Pony and Darling, Darling, Darling with Art Neville taking lead vocals. The complete 1970 Josie release plus two unreleased bonus tracks.
