Look-Ka Py Py

There is simply no comparison to the concise clipped funk of The Meters in their prime, and this is it, tight, right and impossibly laid-back. Anchored by the steady cubist strokes of drummer Zig Modeliste, they produced a bumper crop of instrumental classics - Rigor Mortis; Pungee; Yeah, You're Right; the Mob; Dry Spell, and more. When these guys get cookin' there ain't nothin' tastier.
