20 Doo Wop Classics-I Only Have Eyes For You

While they may not have been as commercially successful as their peers (The Drifters, the Coasters and the Impressions come to mind), their impeccable sense of style and elegance, not to mention their tight stage moves and towering talent, was most certainly a profound influence on groups like the Temptations and the Four Tops. And playing all their own instruments made The Flamingos one of the first bona fide self-contained R&B groups as well. This fine 20-song collection features I Only Have Eyes for You; I'll Be Home; Ko Ko Mo; Mio Amore; My Foolish Heart; Nobody Loves Me Like You; Love Walked In; Lovers Never Say Goodbye; for All We Know; Besame Mucho; Goodnight Sweetheart, and more.
