ABOUT THE ALBUM
Arranged by Carlos Franzetti, D'Rivera's band ensemble provides an orchestral ambiance akin to the legendary Gil Evans sound with Miles Davis (Sketches of Spain). Paquito's latest offering also serves as an artistic commentary on the latest social developments in Cuba. Highlights include "La Bella Cubana," "The Peanut Vendor," "Tu Mi Delirio," "Portraits of Cuba," "Mariana" and "Song to My Son."
